The first of Vermonts two annual diamond bows seasons for deer is underway and bow hunters decked in camouflage are spending their free time in the woods. People who dont bow hunt may be surprised at how the technology has changed in the last couple of decades. The simple recurve bows that have been around since the days of Robin Hood have been replaced by smaller and more powerful models that use a pulley system. And thats not all thats different.VPRs Steve Zind stopped in at R L Diamond bows in Barre where owner Cedric Sanborn was good enough to give us a demonstration - and explain the differences between bow hunting and rifle hunting.
The subject of our latest project is now live. Check out the Diamond bows Equipment Shop. At the moment the site is as ugly as all hell, once I am sure we can crack the top #10 Ill put a bit more effort into making it look pretty to help with conversions etc.The Diamond bows equipment shop aims to educate people interested in Diamond bows as well as primarily being an online store where Archers can purchase all types of diamond bows equipment from Bows and arrows to diamond bows accessories like fine adjustment sights and targets, protective gear and instructional DVDs.The main source of revenue for the site will initially be the integrated Amazon aStore and after we have established a good position, we may look at incorporating some links or maybe text link ads.To get an idea of how we are managing our diamond bows, take a look at the GJuiceMap.
